Job Description

SUMMARY

The Clinical Insights Analyst I is responsible for supporting normalization as a service and acting as domain expert in veterinary medicine. They are responsible for supporting the data normalization modeling process by labeling data that will be used to train the machine language training models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support normalization as a service by acting as domain expert in veterinary medicine.

  • Search for and extract relevant facts from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data and use veterinary medicine domain expertise to label training data to new and existing taxonomies.

  • Perform Quality Assurance on training data to ensure creditable algorithms for the data normalization modeling process are working as expected.

  • Work across veterinary related domains (products, services, species/breeds, appointments, etc.) to translate and map the natural language and jargon of missions and business processes into precise, standards-based knowledge representations.

  • Contribute towards successful communication and positive motivation.

  • Maintain integrity and respect for others.

  • Work well independently.

  • Performs other duties as needed or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:

  • Degree in veterinary technology, animal health science, or related field.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience to fulfill necessary duties is acceptable.

  • No experience required.

  • Knowledge of veterinary PIMs is preferred.

  • Knowledge of veterinary practice management is a plus.

Certificates, License & Registrations

  • Veterinary Technician accreditation is a plus.

Competencies (Skills and Abilities)

  • Ability to understand veterinary related data.

  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, requiring little day-to-day supervision.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with others.

  • Must follow through to solve problems.

  • Exhibits willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Requires working on a computer for hours at a time.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.

$46,400.00 - $77,300.00
