Commercial Operations Analytics Manager, Marketing

Myriad Genetics discovers, develops, and commercializes molecular genetic tests that determine the risk of developing disease, assess disease progression, and guide treatment decisions in Oncology, Women's Health, and Mental Health. The Commercial Operations team is looking for a Commercial Operations Analytics Manager to support our enterprise and business unit marketing teams. As a Commercial Operations Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for understanding marketing processes and leveraging data and analytics to provide insights and audits to drive decision-making within the marketing departments. This is a new role in the organization, which will allow you to define standard reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help monitor the health and success of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Commercial Operations "Point Person" for Enterprise and Business Unit Marketing Leadership
  • Understand and analyze marketing journey processes, pain points, and opportunities
  • Work with the Salesforce technology team to manage and prioritize changes to Marketing Cloud
  • Understand source systems and data sources for third party Marketing vendors
  • Work with the Enterprise marketing team to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through thorough Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Partner with Marketing and Data & Analytics teams to create visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights to cross-functional teams
  • Utilize tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, or other relevant platforms for data visualization of on-going and ad hoc data requests
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align processes, handoffs, and analytics efforts with broader business objectives
  • Partner with marketing to provide ROI analytics on marketing-based activities
  • Provide administrative support of Seismic platform to provide employee access/visibility rights, facilitate new development requirements, and complete audits of marketing content. Work with IT to ensure user hierarchy stays in tact, collaborate across business units to implement any new platform features, track usage data, and lead SFDC full utilization post Myriad's account clean up.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related role
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software
  • 7+ yearsas an analyst supporting sales, operations, and/or marketing;preferred experience in healthcare, biotech, or similar industry experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts and KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner
  • Superior analytical skills; high level of attention to detail with strong business acumen
  • Ability to see the big picture and make quick correlations between data sets
  • Experience with business process improvement and working with others to implement change
  • Technical Systems & Software:
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Seismic
  • Google Analytics
  • Experience utilizing business intelligence systems and data visualization tools
  • SQL or similar programming language experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience required
  • Ability to partner, collaborate, and influence across a wide spectrum of functions that are part of the business planning process
