Your role and responsibilities

Own the technical specification for regional products
Lead regional product life cycle management
Act as technical interface between external local market and internal technical cross functional teams
Support the sales in the local market by providing product and technical support to sales teams including trainings and key customer pursuits
Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach with expert level knowledge of products and competitors offerings
Understand customer needs in the local market by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction
Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market and implements division market pricing policy
Continuously monitor competitive offerings, evaluating competing technologies and pricing strategies
Drive the development of the features based on customer value and relevance to the market
Work with local product management, global product market management and marketing to define the market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years of work experience in a complex global business environment or Associate Degree with minimum 7 years of work experience in a complex global business environment or High School Diploma with 9 years of experience required
  • Progressive experience in product management and customer relationship management required
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results required
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English required
  • Travel up to 10 percent
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
