About the role:

Join our team today! We're hiring a self-driven, motivated professional looking for an exciting opportunity to drive material growth and expand their sales management skills with a leader in the fintech industry. You'll focus on the acceleration of winning new Issuer clients for our Network business and will bring a combination of business consulting and B2B product solution GTM/selling experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop the GTM strategy and lead sales execution support to retain accounts and win new ones with large financial institutions (e.g. Top 100 US Debit card issuers)
  • Work cross-functionally across FIS, representing the FIS Networks business unit in furtherance of sales, revenue recognition and margin goals
  • Work closely with our Sales and Account Management teams to drive the execution of our sell-in to add material incremental revenue to our Networks business
  • Define solutions for complex sales engagements
  • Communicate the FIS Network value proposition over the competition
  • Maintain Network view of large issuer sales pipeline and proactively ensure sales resources are pursuing sales opportunities on a timely basis
  • Direct planning and preparation of large issuer sales proposals using data-based strategies
  • Train and mentor solution sellers as needed throughout the sales cycle, representing the objectives of the Network business unit
  • Lead evaluation, analysis, and formulation of strategies for business growth through new sales and renewals, including providing market intelligence and pricing direction
  • Provide thought leadership on sales messaging and the development of tailored presentation content in conjunction with Product and Marketing

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, B2B marketing or other related discipline. Typically requires 10-15 years of experience in financial services, with some experience in retail payments
  • Well-versed in product and regulatory trends across the payments industry
  • Proven ability to support and drive solution-based sales in the payments technology space, including developing a robust knowledge of the Networks solutions being deployed by FIS (NYCE, CULIANCE, SUM, PLCC, etc.)
  • Requires strong business skills, industry knowledge, product strategy, financial and pricing analysis skills, as well as solution-based selling experience to Mega, Super Regional and Regional banking clients
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, credibility, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across FIS as well as client/partner organizations, consultants, and others in the industry
  • Proven ability as a strategic GTM thinker and sales process manager - experience managing end-to-end sales support process from contract negotiation to product delivery
  • Relevant experience developing large enterprise sales presentations and negotiating enterprise level deals (multiple $M)
  • Ability to persuade and influence on the best approaches to win over prospects, develop creative solution offerings/deal structures and solve issues
  • Knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications, and banking practices
  • Working familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.com, HubSpot or equivalent and effective MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $163,310.00 - $274,380.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
