Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Coordinator will serve a primary role on various NIH-funded clinical research studies within the Pain and Neuroinflammation Imaging Laboratory at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Working independently and collaboratively, they will be responsible for participant recruitment, scheduling and execution of study visits, study documentation, data collection and entry, preparation of reports, and performing administrative tasks as needed. The research projects aim to advance the understanding of central nervous system diseases including chronic pain (e.g., Gulf War Illness, carpal tunnel syndrome, painful trigeminal neuralgia, low back pain, knee osteoarthritis, long COVID, HIV), through the application of advanced neuroimaging techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET).

PREFERRED:
* 1 year of previous research experience (including as part of an undergraduate program)
* Experience with neuroimaging data processing and analysis using FreeSurfer or FSL
* Prior wet lab, phone-screening, and/or clinical experience
* Familiarity with computational software (e.g., MATLAB, R)

The individual will be mostly situated at the A.A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in Charlestown, MA. The candidate may be occasionally asked to to to the MGH main campus.
