Job Description

SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE

The Regal Rexnord Motion Control Solutions PMO is looking to grow our team. We are a collaborative dynamic group supporting both Digital Transformation Teams and IT. We spend our days maturing our PMO Practice and supporting projects ranging from internal process improvements to large-scale ERP Deployments with Strategic Digital Transformation.

This position is located at Regal Rexnord's downtown Milwaukee, WI site. The preference is on-site 3-4 days per week. 100% on-site is not required but face-to-face meetings will be important. Given some projects will be global, some travel should be expected (25%).

As a Project Management Discipline Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving project management practices within our organization. Your expertise will contribute to successful project execution, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to industry standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a robust project management framework, methodologies, and best practices

  • Establish and maintain project management standards, policies, and procedures

  • Provide guidance to project managers and project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in project management processes

  • Contribute to PMO maturity in Portfolio, Program and Project Management

  • Collaborate with Change Management Lead and Training Lead for process development and discipline

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers

  • Provide training and coaching to enhance project management skills

  • Promote professional growth and certification among team members

  • Communication to a broad audience, team level and executives.

  • Ensure open communication amongst team members, eliciting transparency and cross-team coordination

  • Partner in the advancement of long-range strategic planning

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline/equivalent

  • 5-8 years of IT Project Management Experience

  • 2-5 years of people management experience

  • Effective communicator. Demonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to interact with the Regal Leadership Team and outside partners - including the ability to be succinct and simplify/clarify digital-speak" in his/her communication style.
