What success looks like in this role:

The Unisys North America team is looking for a Security Presales Architect to provide critical support for the US region to solution security deals. You will provide the specific enterprise security support solution design capability to architect our security capabilities in a tailored solution. These will be proposed to existing clients and new logo prospects primarily in this region. The position requires a senior level professional to present our solution in oral presentations to client decision makers, including the CIO and CISO level leaders. You are responsible for working with Unisys clients to design and implement solutions related Unisys portfolio offerings. These solutions cover a broad range of partner products that Unisys offers its clients and requires an architect with a broad range of knowledge, a high level of experience, and the ability to apply that knowledge and experience to quickly adapt to changing customer needs and an evolving set of solutions.

You will:

  • Assume accountability and drive execution of combining Unisys cybersecurity portfolio solution capabilities tailored to client unique solutions. Accountable for differentiation and compelling solution leadership at cybersecurity level and contributing to one Unisys level. Accountable for solution cost model (CI) and solution verification of the designed solution.
  • Responsible to participate in Unisys wide, cross Business Unit deals and advocate a Unisys unified single optimal best value solution for our clients.
  • Regional cross security portfolio thought leadership, lessons learned review
  • Portfolio & pipeline development stewardship support to regional sales organization
  • As the Presales Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in crafting a winning technical solution that tightly aligns with our customer's desired outcomes, industry best practices, Unisys portfolio offerings and emerging innovative technologies.
  • As a key member of the sales pursuit team, you will be principally responsible for developing, architecting and presenting business / technical roadmaps to meet client needs in Security Services in support of multi-dimensional customer IT outsourcing initiatives.
  • You will be part of a win-oriented team of presales professionals that work together in designing solutions and delivering corporate growth results. You will participate in the full solution and roadmap development cycle, while interacting closely with Sales to hone our solution and messaging to the prospective customer.
  • You will draw upon the consulting and domain expertise of the global Unisys organization, and actively engage with Solution Management, field sales teams and clients in the development of new and expanded client revenue streams.You will be a recognizedauthorityinternally and externally on leading-edge technologies, theories, or techniques. Providing innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups. You will determine and pursue courses of action essential in accomplishing objectives and integrating advanced technology, theories or techniques that have a significant continued impact across disciplines and business units
  • Identifies any repeating risks and initiates programs to address, engaging leadership across all necessary disciplines.
  • Defines repeatable solutions, cross-business unit solutions, taking strategic view, optimizing the enterprise solution and considering in the solutions the required industry specific needs.
  • Ensures detailed solution and architectural framework are aligned throughout pursuit lifecycle unit. Responsible for pre-sales account base growth (expansion work) Assignments will include cutting-edge projects in a highly technical, dynamic, and fast-paced organization.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Preferred Masters (alternatively Bachelor's) degree in IT related major preferred or significant equivalent experience and 10-12 years of relevant work experience in the IT Service industry, substantial pre-sales architecture experience Typically 7+ years' experience working in a presales or solution selling organization.
  • Familiarity with the following frameworks and standard for experience (NIST, GDPR, ISO27K, MITRE, HIPAA/HITECH, DORA and others)
  • CISSP or other security credential preferred
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal), presentation, collaboration, influencing, analytical and troubleshooting skills . Additional languages over and above English are a plus
  • Understands CXO issues and solution alternatives and is comfortable interacting with them individually or as a part of a broader sales team.
  • Expert knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products and services portfolio.
  • Develops best practices for innovative financial models in security services that bring long term business value to customer solutions.
