Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a Brand Activation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand events. You will partner with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to create exceptional brand experiences.

This position will be located at our facility in Bozeman, Montana, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and execute brand events to drive sales, customer acquisition, direct website and retail store foot traffic, build brand exposure, lead event strategy across all disciplines of hunting and fishing, brick and mortar retail and consumer-facing trade shows
  • Create and manage event and outreach strategies that align with organizational brand goals and generate a positive fiscal impact
  • Oversee annual event planning determining the right events with the right objectives, goals and strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness, follow event budgets and assess ROI
  • Responsible for all events and event planning, including leading team recaps to identify opportunities for improvement, reporting to leadership on a regular cadence on event performance, and budgets
  • Ensure budget alignment while managing all event logistics and planning including event personnel, product and shipping
  • Facilitate logistics planning by determining venues and footprints, coordinating staffing and schedules, reviewing itineraries, building activation plans, organizing materials, and booking venues and services where needed
  • Execute events on-site by coordinating vendors and event hosts, event personnel, materials and logistics
  • Responsible for Data capture, analysis and reporting - with a primary KPI of new customer acquisition and evaluate the impact and success of events, utilizing data and feedback to inform future initiatives
  • Manage public relations before, during and after events to best communicate with the community

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in community/sports marketing or event marketing
  • A minimum of 3 years with a +$200M premium consumer brand
  • Highly organized with experience planning and executing consumer-facing brand events beginning with strategic intent through on-site execution
  • Experience managing public relations related to event marketing and community activations
  • Experience KPI setting, tracking, and dashboard creation with the ability to extract insights from data and KPIs related to event marketing and brand activations
  • A passion for the SITKA brand and the ability to comprehensively understand relevant industries, consumer mindsets, and seasonal trends.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize workloads, manage multiple events and projects simultaneously and drive financial results
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience in an event marketing role within a Fortune 500 multi-channel brand
