What are the Responsibilities of the Line Cook?
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials, using fresh and quality ingredients.
- Recipe Adherence: Follow established recipes and guidelines while also contributing to menu innovation and development.
- Food Safety: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen area.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency to meet our high standards.
- Kitchen Organization: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and well-maintained, including inventory management and rotation.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth kitchen operation, including effective communication with other kitchen staff.
What are the Qualifications?
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
- Culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Creativity in developing and executing new menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes.
What are the Working Conditions?
- This position will involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
- Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays, based on our store's operating hours
