Job Description
KPMG LLP, Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), Los Angeles, CA.
 
Provide business and intangible asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, corporate services and management planning purposes. Ensure the quality and accuracy of client deliverables. Apply in-depth technical accounting knowledge. Conduct reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
 
SALARY: $123,240 - $248,900 per year
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Financial Mathematics, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Financial Mathematics, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
 
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Valuation of business entities and intangible assets; bidding or asking price plans; Financial analysis and research; Building and applying financial models, including lattice models, Monte-Carlo simulation, and derivative pricing models; Utilizing advanced language programming, including C++, Python, R, MatLab, or VBA; and Building non-generic complex models to address client-specific requests.
 
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
 
Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.
