Tyler Technologies' Florida Enterprise is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to support Tyler's Payment Services in the State of Florida. We are a talented team of programmers, designers and project managers who are dedicated to improving the lives of Florida citizens through the web and mobile payment services that we build on behalf of our government partner in Florida. Tyler's Florida Payment team is currently seeking applicants for a Project Manager to assist in the successful implementation of our payment services for state and local government partners.

Responsibilities

• Work with functional departments and key project stakeholders to identify new IT projects and enhancements to existing IT projects
• Develop project plans and documents following company guidelines and standards
• Keep projects moving and help team members work productively by using effective project management techniques coupled with great people skills
• The candidate will apply best practices, principles and processes in working with teams on developing solutions that support and enhance client needs
• Assign, schedule, monitor and regularly communicate project work and progress following the project plan and company guidelines
• Thoroughly document all meeting minutes, managing action items identified and ensuring each entity understands the required action to be completed
• Identify, track and communicate project-related issues, risks, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the project life cycle

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business/Management Information Systems, or equivalent area of study
• Three or more years of experience managing information technology implementation projects
• Proven experience managing custom software development projects

Desirable Qualifications:

• Project management training (PMP, Certified Scrum Product Owner, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Atlassian suite of applications preferred
• State or federal government working experience preferred

• Strong analytical, problem solving, risk assessment and decision making skills
• Shows initiative and willingness to take on tasks without being asked
• Knows when to consult with management on projects or decisions
• Excellent listening, verbal and writing skills
• Must be comfortable speaking in front of small to large groups
• Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously with success
