Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Surgical Scheduler - General Surgery
  • Location: Elmhurst, IL
  • Full Time: 36 hours/pp
  • Hours: Office are are Monday-Friday 8-5

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical terminology or previous experience in healthcare setting
  • Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience

  • One year of EPIC experience

General Summary: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for scheduling surgeries for the department. Collaborates with other team members to assist in problem resolution to identify the most efficient schedule.
