Systems Specialists - Level II

LOCATION:
Remote


LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as a Systems Specialist to provide support to our IRSCI client. The main tasks are to analyze and define security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues. Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements. Gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Perform risk analyses which also includes risk assessment.

RESPONSIBILITIES and SKILLS:
  • Independently researches IRS required processes such as Cloud Front Door, Security Change Request, Firewall Change Request, ELC path, etc. and completes processes and documents required to implement systems or system changes.
  • Modernize CI Test Environments to allow faster deployment with minimal administrative overhead.
  • Provide integration or systems administration support of GOTS or COTS products.
  • Ad hoc support for On-prem or cloud; system requirements analysis, data analysis, engineering, system design, development, code programming, testing, planning, deployment, quality assurance, configuration management, systems documentation, inter-dependent relationship management, and other industry standard systems administration needs.
  • Completes installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting of information technology infrastructure or applications.
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of CI IT systems.
  • Ensures hardware and software meet IRS-CI lifecycle management requirements.
  • Assist and support all activities needed to maintain N or N-1 software version currency.
  • Develop and Mature monitoring systems for applications, servers, cloud services, network components, client interactions, and key infrastructure to provide proactive visibility into upcoming issues, takes action to optimize or proactively resolve the issue or environment using monitoring tools, creates dashboards with system status, provides resolutions, etc.
  • Daily monitoring, administration, and lifecycle management of various environments.
  • Experience in CI environment is a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.A or B.S with at least 3 years specialized experience in related technology.
  • Experienced in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
