Summary Statement:
The Global Health Training, Advisory and Support Contract (GHTASC) delivers effective global health programming to advance the mission of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Health (GH) through institutional support and workforce development services from junior, mid- level, senior and expert advisory and administrative professionals.
Credence and its partner, the Public Health Institute (PHI), are both employers for GHTASC, and are seeking a Program Analyst under GHTASC. This position will be hired under Public Health Institute (PHI).
Position Summary:
The Program Analyst will primarily support the Child Health and Immunization (CHI) Division in the Office of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Bureau for Global Health (GH/MCHN) as a PHI Institutional Support Contractor (ISC). In this role, the selected candidate performs a variety of complex and routine duties, including administrative tasks such as scheduling briefings and meetings and maintaining program files; more complex analytical tasks such as collecting, compiling, reviewing, and analyzing policy and technical information to support USAID immunization priorities; and high-level coordination, such as developing internal briefers for USAID technical teams and senior leadership, as well as supporting meetings with external partners.
The Program Analyst will work closely with the CHI immunization team that focuses on the management and administration of the U.S. government's partnership with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance (Gavi). The Program Analyst will work with other members of the team to provide technical, financial, program, and administrative support; coordinate with USAID Missions to support their engagement with Gavi; and other duties as assigned. The Program Analyst prioritizes in order of importance and impending deadlines and handles several tasks simultaneously. The individual is expected to become familiar with office/division technical issues and policies. The Program Analyst works in a dynamic, fast-paced division and is expected to demonstrate good judgment and strong initiative in the prioritization of tasks and responding to simultaneous demands of GH and CHI leadership, USAID Missions, US Government (USG) agencies, and external partners.
Full salary range for this position is $78,780 to $124,540 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
