Kapco Inc. is looking for a Senior Quality Technician on 2nd shift at our Osceola, WI facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

  • Serve as a role model within the quality team, demonstrating technical proficiency and fostering team-building skills.

  • Evaluate parts and processes, report non-conformances, and maintain the quality system.

  • Calibrate measurement and test equipment, interpret blueprints, and train others in quality processes as needed.

  • Act as the main quality contact for customers; you correspond regarding vendor and customer issues.

  • Participate in New Product Development, including Advanced Product Quality Planning and assembling Product Part Approval Process documentation.

  • Investigate and document corrective actions, updating control plans, performing internal audits, and stopping production when quality issues arise.

  • Submission of PPAPs and corrective actions, maintaining organizational standards, effective training, task completion, attendance, cooperation, and clear communication.

  • Utilize advanced measuring and testing equipment like the CMM and Faro Arm with 3D scanning technology.

  • Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications, and meticulously record data.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in software such as PolyWorks and SOLIDWORKS, along with Faro Arm programming experience.

  • Expertise in preparing APQP PPAPs to customer requirements, utilizing GDT, and possessing a deep understanding of fabrication processes and equipment.

  • Adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping practices.
