Guardian Glass is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Corsicana, Texas.

What You Will Do

  • Upload, edit, download and backup PLC programs, HMIs, robot code, etc.
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose and repair issues on equipment
  • Manage the on-site activities of contractors and integrators
  • Execute capital projects including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities
  • Utilize your electrical power and controls skills to support operations in a continuous process environment
  • Create re-engineered CAD drawings for plant layouts and unavailable components
  • Identify and address improvement opportunities in the manufacturing processes and equipment, including risk reduction, quality improvement, waste reduction and productivity

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Electrical and controls engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience troubleshooting controls systems
  • CAD experience
  • Experience leading projects

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with power distribution, control systems, mechanical systems, P&ID, and machine design
  • Experience working in a glass manufacturing facility
