Oversee several internally developed applications including NET stand-alone programs and customer facing websites. Be the designated application owner for several applications, maintaining, enhancing, and providing production support of applications supported. Ensure any changes are in accordance with recommended good coding practices, including ease of maintenance, error logging, application performance, and securing of sensitive information through appropriate encryption and other technologies. Act as the development lead for projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, deployments, production rollout, and post rollout support. Be responsible for third-party applications integration with mortgage origination applications. Be responsible for reviewing and executing the periodic Access & Entitlement Reviews and Disaster Recovery Plans for applications supported. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy. The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $151,986 to $181,986 per year. The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering (any field), or other related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Technology Analyst, Senior Associate - Projects, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience in Banking and Financial services with a solid understanding of PII data safeguards and encryption techniques. Requires seven (7) years of experience in designing and developing Windows, Web applications and Web APIs. Requires hands-on experience with application development using the .NET framework including C#, VB.NET, LINQ, jQuery, CSS, HTML5.0 and ASP.NET. Requires an understanding of technologies like ADO.Net, Entity Framework, MVC, Web Services and RESTful API. Requires strong SQL skills and experience with SQL 2008/2012 (and above), SSIS and SSRS. Requires experience with source control tools, like TFS and Git Hub. Requires strong knowledge of the software development and experience working with Business Unit stakeholders and software vendors to gather requirements and offer solutions. Requires experience providing estimations, risk assessments, draft business requirements, system interfaces and technical design documents. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
