Job Description
As this is a hybrid position working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates local to Northeast Ohio.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The SR JAMF Engineer position will be responsible for all daily activities within the desktop support team including providing level 3 desktop management and administration support for all endpoint systems within the enterprise on various computer and device platforms as well as providing project work. This individual will serve as an escalation point and technical lead for the Desktop Support team and report directly to the Manager IT Infrastructure and Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage enterprise endpoint management systems including JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, VMware Horizon VDI, Intune, and Group Policy management.
* Perform system upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Provide documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Support and troubleshoot issues related to JAMF, JAMF Connect, and apple devices.
* Proficient in MAC OS Sanoma and Ventura, providing support and troubleshooting issues.
* Implement scripting and automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency (experience with PowerShell, AppleScript, or other scripting languages is a plus).
* Manage system backups and recovery services.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
* Stay current with industry trends and best practices in desktop engineering and endpoint management.
* Provides a consistent focus on continuous process improvement.
* Respond and resolve in-depth technical escalations from Tier I and II Desktop Support Specialists on a wide variety of technologies.
* Troubleshoot and maintain desktop, laptop, and mobile device configuration.
* Develop, test, and deploy desktop and laptop images, and continuously refine deployment methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop, test, and deploy software packages utilizing enterprise endpoint management systems.
* Create, modify, and maintain group policy for endpoints.
