Overview

Starting Pay Range: $31.00/hour+

1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

  • Experience working in maintenance related fields including general computer operated machines, industrial electrical and welding.
  • Licensed Millwright preferred.
  • Plumbing and HVAC experience a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills along with mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds minimum.
  • Copious walking and standing required.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives including decision making and problem solving.
  • Available and willing to work flexible shift's when necessary in order to work on project/production requirements.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Must be able to perform multi-task operations while maintaining exceptional performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as required.
  • Responsible for emergency repairs and adjustments while the line is running in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for smooth and efficient changeovers.

  • Responsible for modifying and/or fabricating equipment in order to maintain and improve the lines.
  • Responsible for efficiently troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure maximum reliability and highest quality possible at all times.
  • Responsible for the maintenance upkeep of off site facilities and operations of all plant equipment.
  • Responsible for all shift maintenance logs.
  • Responsible for start up and shut down of all plant equipment each day.
  • Responsible for keeping a clean safe working environment.
  • Responsible for working on machines that use chemicals (caustic, acids and ammonia).
