Job Overview

In this position you will work in our MTO department where you will have an opportunity to be involved in the entire window building process.

Highlights of your role
    Possess safe work habits and maintain good housekeeping at all times.
  • Work with and care for all equipment in MTO department.
  • Build jigs and fixtures to help others build units successfully.
  • Provide alternative solutions to building unique windows and doors as needed.
  • Work seamlessly with R&D, Special Project Staff, Architectural, and others to complete complex window and door builds.
  • Train other operators to expand skillsets with MTO builds.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to a team in a fast-changing environment.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a woodworking type role a plus
  • Strong aptitude and skills in woodworking and building product from prints
  • The ability to read window work orders and schematics to build windows to print
  • The ability to work well independently with a focus to get things done right
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to train and cross train others in the DHPG
  • Knowledge of Marvin window and door platform
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm - Drive for results
  • Communication and collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally
  • Attention to detail and quality guidelines a must
