Job Summary:

This role will support the newly implemented System-wide Position Review program for Allina. In this role, you will work directly with Allina senior leaders to develop, manage, and maintain the position review process at a local and system level.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

  • Position Review Tools.
    • Understand and use productivity data to help inform system position review decision-making.
    • Ensure integrity of performance review data tool and optimization of the associated processes.

  • Leadership Coaching.
    • Help departments investigate / understand variances to labor targets.
    • Focus on elimination of ineffective and inefficient processes.
    • Coach department leaders, senior leaders, and business partners to guide operational decision-making.
    • Develop and lead education to support system-wide labor literacy.

  • Support of System Labor Approach Development.
    • Support standardization of position review committee processes.
    • Independently lead labor projects throughout the organization, coordinating with other stakeholders as appropriate.

  • Labor Management Support.
    • Support and develop reporting, tools, and processes to monitor and measure performance.
    • Support implementation and improvement of labor reporting.

  • Relationship Management.
    • Build and maintain customer relationships within project assignments and connections across the system.
    • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, health care administration, industrial engineering or related field required
  • Master's degree in business administration, health care administration or related field preferred
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in health care, project management and/or data and financial analysis. Working knowledge of health care delivery and ancillary support/business operations required
  • Will also consider recent Administrative Fellows at Allina Health
