Description of Position: The Memory Care Director works as a liaison between residents, resident families, and staff...

Responsibilities of the Memory Care Manager:
* Ensure that the policies and procedures are effective and enforced to support the health and safety of the residents.
* Coordinate memory care admissions with the Wellness Director including supervising move ins to be sure accommodations are as desired, assessments are completed, and care is immediately implemented.
* Develop, create, plan and organize the daily program including the printed calendar of events and ensure its implementation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
* Investigate serious incidents involving memory care residents which result in injuries or death in order to identify and implement opportunity for improvement in care.
* Monitor and document memory care staff performance to ensure that care and services are being delivered safely and in accordance with the Georgia Assisted Living Community Rules and Regulations.
* Manage and supervise memory care staff by providing assignments, support, direction, feedback, and training.
* Participate in hiring and performance reviews.
* Evaluate the program utilizing quality enhancement tools and family feedback.
* Partner with and otherwise assist the Wellness Director in establishing and maintaining a medication system which adheres to state, federal and company laws, regulations and guidelines.
* Review and utilize the Community's disaster preparedness plan for staff and residents to follow in case of fire, explosion, natural disaster, or other emergency, including interruption of electrical power supply, gas-heating supply and water supply.
* Notify Wellness Director of at-risk residents in need of a higher level of care. Conduct individual resident history, preferences assessments, and develop individualized service and program plans.
* Coordinate care planning with families, physicians, and home health agencies while working within the Community's policies and procedures.
* Monitor staff performance, providing additional training as necessary.
* Work together with the Resident Care Coordinator in scheduling and supervising staff; be available to cover staffing when needed.
* Work together with the Resident Care Coordinator in providing training and orientation to new assisted living staff members and ongoing training to current staff members.
* Facilitate a pro-active problem-solving approach to challenging resident behaviors.
* Maintain the budget for the memory care program.
* May drive community vehicle for medical, social, or other outings. Attend monthly staff meetings.
* May participate in Manager on Duty Program.
* Read all shift change acknowledgement notes.
* Other duties as assigned by the Wellness Manager and/or Administrator.

Position Requirements:
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Must have an acceptable criminal background record check.
* Must keep a current certification in emergency first aid and CPR.
* Must have a clear tuberculosis screening upon hire to assure that the employee is free of diseases communicable within the scope of employment.
* Must have a physical examination prior to employment and as required by the Community after an injury or illness to assure that the employee is physically qualified to work.
* Must have a valid LPN or RN
* Must have two to four years minimum experience in caring for people with dementia and in developing and facilitating activity programs, preferably as a manager.
* Must be able to bend/stoop, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, balance, push, pull, squat, crouch, lift, carry, and move up to one hundred (100) pounds.
* Must have training in emergency evacuation procedures, medical and social needs of the residents, resident's rights, abuse and neglect reporting, infection control, medication assistance, dementia, and courses relevant to the job duties.
* Must obtain at least twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education the first year and sixteen (16) hours of continuing education courses each year thereafter.
* Must have knowledge about the disease process, the changes associated with dementia illnesses, how they affect the individual's ability to function, and the adaptive strategies that help maintain a resident's abilities.
* Employee must not be under the influence of alcohol or other substances while engaged in any work-related activity on behalf of the Community. Employee must wear a name tag at all times while on the property or engaged in any work-related activity on behalf of the Community.
* Experience with staff supervision.
* Able to manage a small budget.
* Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed, including weekends.

At this time, we are seeking a Regional Director of Sales to oversee 4 communities in the Atlanta, GA area. SUMMARY... Under the direction of the Vice President of Strategy and Development or the President of Galerie Management, this position is responsible for overseeing, guiding and supporting the sales efforts of the communities in their assigned region; providing leadership, mentoring, training and coaching for Community Sales Teams; as well as developing and updating comprehensive and effective sales and marketing plans. In cooperation with the Community Sales Teams and Executive Directors, the position is accountable for assisting operations to meet or exceed occupancy goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Overall Responsibility * Work with Community Sales Teams to achieve occupancy targets and drive positive revenue growth in assigned Region. * Develop Sales Teams at the community level toward continuous improvement in all areas related to sales. * Effectively function in a matrix environment, collaborate and drive results alongside other regional leaders. Build Sales Capacity * Review sales capacity of communities and work with operations to identify communities that need to be targeted for sales development. * Assist in analyzing specific markets by reviewing demographics, competitors, referral sources, pricing and other relevant factors. * Assist in developing a sales strategy based on an understanding of the market. * Manage sales and marketing functions for a regional area including the monitoring of key sales indicators and trends. * Provide training in sales and marketing classroom/field training and coaching to all key personnel in the region. Develop Sales Teams at the Community Level * Assist in the hiring and performance management of community senior living consulatants. * Establish monthly move-in goals for each community. * Develop monthly customized sales standards for each community. * Responsible for managing and monitoring CRM for each community and region to hold community teams accountable for accuracy of data and time input of activities. * Coach and provide feedback to community senior living consultants on overall sales functions. * Conduct successful community site visits to include shadowing and/or modeling tours, sales calls, review and strategize what to do with open inquiries, evaluate appropriate follow up to leads and to evaluate the rent readiness of communities. * Contribute to the development of community sales people by participating in sales orientation and skill-building workshops QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's or post graduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field * Minimum of five (5) years sales and marketing experience within a retirement community or multi-family residential property with significant level of responsibility and accountability for goal achievement. * Experience in multi-community experience preferred. * Demonstrated ability to set and achieve census and financial targets in multiple units. * Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor Sales Professionals * Excellent presentation skills with ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
