Position Description:

In the role of a Research Scientist II you will be working in Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy. This position centers on sample preparation, processing and performing electron microscopy on samples for research projects across the Medical College of Wisconsin Campus. This position also entails responsibility for management, maintenance of hardware within the Core Facility. This position holds expectation to train in the efficient use of the microscopes and ancillary equipment, as well as instrumentation for sample preparation. The expectation is that this individual would contribute to the implementation of new experimental methods in microscopy and sample preparation, and would participate in the organization and maintenance of the Core Facility infrastructure.
