Description

Under general supervision of the Project Policy Analyst 3, the incumbent will develop solutions which may involve process design, data and information architecture, software development and policy or procedural changes, creation of specifications for systems to meet requirements, validating requirements against departmental needs, planning, and executing unit integration and end-user acceptance testing. May develop training materials for system implementation. May assist in leading cross functional teams to solve complex system issues. Salary: $5,958.33 - $12,908.33 monthly
Qualifications

Required: * Working knowledge of the standards and guides of the Guide for the Care and Use of Labroatory Animals, the Animal Welfare Act, OSHA, occupational health and UCLA policies to ensure approriate development of systems are estblished. * Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying degrees of veterinary and husbandry training, faculty and staff. * Ability to work independently under conditions of fluctuating workloads and to set priorities which reflect the relative importance of job duties. * Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels with the organization. * Knowledge of University and DLAM procedures in order to effectively train and assess staff development. * Ability to write and maintain documents e.g. SOPs, working instructions, and provide train * Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience and training. * Intermediate knowledge of areas of Information Technology including familiarity with Cayuse platforms. * Minimum 3-5 years working in Animal Research Field
