Inserso is seeking candidates with business and/or systems analysis experience in environments using Agile development methodologies. The analyst will be working within the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to support system sustainment activities for the Enterprise Environmental, Safety and Occupational - Management Information System (EESOH-MIS).

Responsibilities:

• Serve as analyst for one or more of the modules in EESOH-MIS (Hazardous Material, Hazardous Waste, Environmental Restoration/Cleanup, Environmental Reporting, Solid Waste, Operational Ranges, or overall shared functions) to:
  • Develop/document epics, features, and user stories identifying needed capabilities and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate prioritization of needs and stories
  • Participate in program meetings, acting as Product Owner and representing functionals
  • Participate in periodic program increment planning meetings
  • Review designs and participate in app demos to ensure user needs/requirements are met
• Work with functionals to gather requirements and create system requirement specifications and user stories as needed with sufficient detail to allow them to be evaluated and designed by system developers:
  • Perform requirements analysis activities with the user community
  • Create functional and interface requirements documentation for submission to the IT development team
  • Coordinate with other module analysts to avoid duplication and ensure common standards are maintained

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Associate degree (or higher) in Information Systems, Information Technology, or another computer related field OR Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related work experience.
• 2 years of professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products such as:
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of business or systems analyst experience OR 2+ years of environmental compliance / environmental management / environmental engineering experience with the Air Force and EESOH-MIS.
• Experience using the following tools:
  • Jira/Atlassian Suite
  • Microsoft Visio
• Experience developing Use Case narratives and diagrams.
