Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for our {Beaumont} Service Center. As aWarehouse Coordinatorfor IPS you will be responsible for physical and transactional shipments, both incoming and outgoing. You will also verify and store records and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset ensuring the Shipping and Receiving department has a Customer First approach
  • Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery
  • Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers
  • Inspects shipments for damages or defects
  • Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records
  • Review Purchase Order Delivery Dates and Truck Schedules to plan each workday
  • Assign and maintain inventory location in ACS
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floors and Job Material staging areas.
  • Will operate dolly, pallet jack, overhead crane, rigging, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards
  • Prepares monthly storage billing for processing.
  • Maintain the monthly equipment evaluations.
  • Sets the after hour on call schedule for the warehouse team.
  • Responsible for company phone and customer response.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college preferred
  • Valid Class D Driver's License required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Rigging Certification preferred
  • Records maintenance skills preferred
  • Inventory management preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to lift, push or pull items up to 70 lbs. in weight
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
