Responsibilities: Guides financial and or accounting staff performing work in multiple finance functional areas and participates in day-to-day financial operations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and reports, and/or supervises staff. -Minimum 7 years' experience in finance, accounting or business services in a higher education setting.
-Minimum 5 years' experience with UW purchasing and e-Reimbursement processes.
-Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Ability to demonstrate initiative, proper judgement, and independent decision-making.
-Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, team participation skills, problems solving techniques, and strong customer service skills.
Preferred
-Experience in managing student scholarships.
-Experience in managing post-award activities for extramural and intramural funding.

This position requires most work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. The person in this position may request and be considered for a formal remote work agreement based on guidelines set forth by the School of Nursing, and/or may be provided with remote work flexibility as needed and approved by the supervisor.

The expected salary for this position starts at a rate of $63,800. Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications.
