Job Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

The Work:

  • Think through design at the conceptual level; make choices based on brand tone and strategy
  • Direct illustrators/photographers/studio to bring your concepts to life
  • Help lead meetings to explain and substantiate the design direction with strategic justification and point of view
  • Actively contribute to the ideation process; be able to bring unique ideas to the table and help sell them in
  • Articulate innovative ideas and solutions for our clients' interactive needs
  • Attend client presentations and work sessions and participate as appropriate
  • Keep abreast of current design and cultural trends; maintain awareness of relevant advances in our industry and share with the team as appropriate
  • Understand business objectives and strategies of client assignments
  • Understand how to follow a brief from concept through execution
  • Responsible to work within creative timelines, handle work flow and maintain overall accuracy of work with Account Service and support of creative leaders

The Team:

  • Add to healthy creative team environment; contribute to culture of New Honor Society
  • Exhibit team leadership by providing insight, motivation and coaching to less experienced designers, encouraging their personal growth
  • Be accessible to team members and lead by example
  • Demonstrate team player attitude, working effectively with individuals across the agency to deliver results through collaboration
  • Contribute to other teams as needed, including new business

Experience/Credentials:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); Aware of emerging technology.
  • Meets deadlines with consistency while demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Shows initiative and demonstrates ownership of project deliverables; employs sound judgment when working with team members, client contacts, vendors etc.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills in facilitating workflow for the team
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Exhibits eagerness to learn and grow professionally and proactively seeks out growth opportunities
  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Design
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience

NHS has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday.
