Job Description

Staffmark is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Material Handler in Des Plaines, IL. Pay: $17 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday


Material Handler Responsibilities: Consolidating freight, picking/assembling orders, counting cargo, loading goods, staging items for shipment, coordinating the receipt/storage/distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products, transporting materials to/from the receiving, production, and storage areas, and completing required paperwork. You will utilize forklifts, once fully trained, and manual equipment (hand truck/pallet jack).

Requirements: At least one year of sit-down forklift experience within a warehouse environment, previous experience working in a Freight Forwarding operation, RF Scanner experience, and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
