Your Team, Your Impact

The Custom Compute and Storage hardware validation team at Marvell specializes in post-silicon validation for cutting-edge silicon technologies. We define and develop test requirements used in the manufacture of Marvell devices. Our engineers gain exposure to various aspects of the business, including design, process, and test methodology. As part of this dynamic team, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing circuit issues and guiding development teams toward effective problem resolution.

What You Can Expect

Document Test Requirements:

  • Define and document test requirements based on product specifications.
  • Resolve test pattern issues

Circuit Characterization and Yield Analysis:

  • Analyze lab and large-scale ATE (Automated Test Equipment) data using tools and code such as R-Studio, Python and Perl.
  • Provide detailed circuit characterization across temperature, process, and voltage ranges.
  • Evaluate yield performance.

Test Strategy Development:

  • Develop test strategies covering a wide range of design-for-test mechanisms.
  • Examples include logic tests and memory Built-In Self-Test (BIST).

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related technical field(s).
  • 3-5 yearsof previous experience in semiconductor development and/or product characterization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional degree in EE (Master's preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in hardware validation and circuit characterization.
  • Proficiency in VLSI concepts, design-for-test methodology, statistics, and data analysis techniques.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python, or related languages within a Unix environment.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

101,900 - 150,850, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
