Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for defining and implementing the appropriate management controls for the organization with respect to NAS model cell. Focuses on short-term goals that include achieving and maintaining adequate production, quality, and delivery in support of customer and organizational requirements; and long-term goals, which include formulation, planning, and implementation of tactical strategies in support of company objectives.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Manages Manufacturing supervisors and managers. Provide support for Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving and Processing Departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these disciplines.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Establishes and enforces company policies as necessary and actively participates in the company's safety, health, and environmental programs.

Formulates, plans, and implements long-term goals and strategies. Determines proper daily pace for production.

Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as set forth in the company plan.

Coordinates and collaborates with Inside Sales Team on customer support to ensure on time deliveries.

Provides high level of focus on daily operational activities to ensure timely deliveries within budget constraints.

Sets and implements the necessary controls to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule.

Coordinates with Quality Assurance in the flow down and understanding of customer needs to suppliers.

Coordinates status information on projects, shipments, production, inventory levels, lead-times, and various other status reports as needed.

Creates and optimizes opportunities for cost and lead-time reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity increases. Includes the establishing and planning of capital expenditures.

Designs flow path, balance line with proper number of machines design planned wip inventories to ensure constant flow.
Establish standard work for labor (both inside to support cell)

Develops self and employees by attending seminars, professional organizational meetings, or conferences.

Provides creative and aggressive leadership in managing assigned functions.

Projects a professional image to subordinates, peers, suppliers, and customers.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $105,000-$125,000 annually

Qualifications

OTHER COMPETENCIES:

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Detailed command of Power BI

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Management, Business Administration or related field preferred. A minimum of ten years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with direct operational and budgetary responsibility.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.




Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to very loud.
