Description

This position is responsible for the delivery of strategic lending process and technology improvements across functional departments for the Commercial and Private Bank Lending channels. The primary duties will include collaborating with subject matter experts to draw inferences from business processes and coordinating with internal development and external software resources to translate business needs into actionable and feasible technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with business units and perform high-level business process reviews to obtain in-depth understanding of process pain points and determine potential value in process improvements. Summarize and document process review findings and provide recommendations regarding project prioritization and assignment
  • Coach and mentor individuals and teams in the practical application of process improvement tools to enable project execution and drive cultural change. Assist in implementing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Use expertise to increase employee acceptance of the changes, as well as ensuring employee engagement to make the change processes more successful
  • Apply knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business
  • Collaborate with other technical teams and business users as needed throughout the development lifecycle, to include: testing with end users, providing end user support, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Effectively communicate and translate between both technical and non-technical audiences within the organization

Requirements

  • This position requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Economics, MIS, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information technology or other related degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with business analysis, process improvement and system design
  • Will consider years of related experience in lieu of specific degree
  • Previous project management or consulting experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills

  • SQL - including writing queries, understanding tables, joins, functions, etc.
  • Understand basic concepts about software development like datatypes, variables, iterating arrays, exception handling, etc.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set goals and meet project deadliness
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, vendors and contractors
  • Exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations when making decisions.
  • Bonus: Proficient in coding in at least one programming language
