Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Tech II

Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am (2/2/3 Rotation Schedule)

They are growing rapidly and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure their manufacturing and packaging equipment is running efficiently.

Maintenance Tech II Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Diagnoses, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs/rebuilds and completes all maintenance procedures of all mechanical systems, pumps, vacuum pumps, pneumatics, steam piping and components, boilers, HVAC, process and sanitary piping, ammonia systems, electrical, electronic and all related components.
- Recommends process improvements and corrections either through adjustments, modifications, or design changes.
- Diagnoses and repairs primary and secondary electrical power distribution systems and their components.
- Leads maintenance projects and initiates, completes, and communicates work orders to plant and maintenance personnel and completes all required documentation.

Maintenance Tech II Requirements:
- High school diploma, preferred. Completion of a trade school degree desirable.
- 2 years of machine maintenance / electrical experience, required. Experience in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
- Journeyman's Electrician and/or Refrigeration Licenses preferred.
- Good communication skills with special ability to establish and maintain working relationships with end users.
- Good analytical skills to diagnose and determine route cause of mechanical / electrical issues.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as part of the time.
