Job Description
Position Title: 2nd & 3rd Shift Brake Press Operator
Wage: $22-$26/hour
Shift: 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

Brake Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up forming dies, operate brake press (Cincinnati) and tooling per standards
- Machine mastery - install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades or other fixtures securely in rams or beds of machines
- Uphold quality standards - produce metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, gauges, templates, and rulers
- Complete required paperwork and other tasks as assigned
- Perform all required housekeeping tasks
Brake Press Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of brake press experience
- Heavy manufacturing experience a plus
- Experience with a 175 or 350 brake preferred
- Excellent blueprint reading skills
- Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane and forklift
- Lift to 50lbs
- Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Specific vision abilities for this position includes up close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
