  1. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers (SSCHC) and ensures that the Nursing, Social Services, and Clinical Support Department aligns with and supports SSCHC mission, vision, and values.
  2. Role model professional excellence, compassionate care, strategic and innovative planning, and dynamic leadership.
  3. Provide direct supervision to all Nursing, Social Services, and Clinical Support Departments leadership staff.  Organizes, directs, and administers those departments to provide the level of care required to meet or exceed current standards.
  4. Maintains continuing quality assessment, improvement analysis and evaluation of patient care delivery. Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of performance and clinical quality improvement.
  5. Oversees all clinical accreditations (i.e., Joint Commission, Medical Home, Meaningful Use, QI Awards) and all local, State, and Federal clinical standards for Health Care Centers.
  6. Creates and maintains close coordination with all departments to insure integrated care, continuity of care and collaboration of services.
  7. Plans and coordinates the budgeting and grant requirements for personnel, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for cost controls to reach strategic goals, insure maximum effectiveness of funds and adherence to approved departmental budgets.
  8. Supports, develops and improves the Nursing, Social Services and Clinical Support services processes, work assignments, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  9. Recommends, supports, and participates in education services, programs of education, and training, including orientation of new employees. Encourages and facilitates the professional advancement of employees by affording opportunities for further education and experience.
  10. Assures Nursing, Social Services and Leadership support for staff by maintaining a Nursing, Social Services and Administration Call rotation at all times.
  11. Participate in Executive level strategic and operational planning and other committees as needed.
  12. Provide direct nursing services to patients as needed.
Master's in nursing is preferred but will consider a seasoned BSN.
