Job Description
Company thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. Your responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, update and repair malfunctioning plant equipment as well as plant building repairs Perform routine mechanical or machining maintenance activities on equipment Participate in preventative maintenance program based on OEMs (Original Equipment Manuals) for plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities Maintain records of daily PM's and readings such as emissions, dust collector, amp on blast wheels, and conductivity for water treat system Other responsibilities and projects as specified Your profile Excellent mechanical skills with a focus on clutch/brake presses or other forming presses (hydraulic/mechanical) Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley/Siemens), robotics (ABB), and electrical control systems Capable of troubleshooting through complex mechanical, electrical and automation failures in order to determine a root cause of failure Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical Knowledge of robotics and PLC's Knowledge of fabrication Excellent communication skills Ability to convert metric to standard and basic mathematical ability Excellent reasoning and problem solving ability Ability to follow step-by-step instructions Ability to operate a variety of maintenance equipment in a safe and effective manner Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems Your benefits with us We offer an outstanding Benefits Package that includes: Company Tuition Reimbursement Package.
