Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment, and operate cranes and hoists or lift tables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
Minimum Qualifications:
No minimum education required
No prior experience required
Basic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
