The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. As a Runout Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require a thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials, and equipment. Works from engineering drawings, schematics, rough sketches, manuals or verbal instructions.

Your responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering configurations and application specifications
  • Perform testing of gas chromatographs to meet engineering configurations and application specifications
  • Perform standard assembly of various products from work instructions and production orders
  • Perform duties in a manner compliant with prevailing quality procedures and policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Team Lead
  • Attend work cell stand up meetings to discuss status and issues
  • Support skills training for others on the team
  • Support 5S practices and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and guidelines
  • Some overtime may be required to ensure on time delivery of customer orders
Your background

  • Associates degree plus up to 2 years of related experience. Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments. Capable of reading and interpreting Engineering configuration and wiring schematics
  • Experience with setup and testing Process Gas Chromatographs (GC's) and a good understanding of chromatography theory
  • Assembly skills including bending tubing and installation of fittings
  • Operate computer to perform testing per established procedures
  • Experience using test systems to validate quality of manufactured assemblies
  • Experience working collaboratively with Mfg. Engineers, Application Specialists, and other Assembly personnel to develop work practices for efficient GC testing operations, including troubleshooting issues
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
