The Service Sales Support Specialist has the task of delivering the service portfolio to ABB customers within the PAPI P&P Service, Process Automation Process Industries (PAPI) in Cleveland, Ohio, helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on site. You will work as part of team dedicated to creating innovative services to our Process Automation Process Industries customers. You will be responsible to support the development and execution of efficiencies to the front end sales process tools, procedures and guidelines. The person in this position will serve as a trusted colleague to meet local business line industry segment goals and overall strategy of ABB.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop, align and execute local Business Line Industry segment enabled tools and support their optimal use by business leaders, sales and associated portions of the organization
  • PAPI NAM (North America) BL (Business Line) Sales planning, reporting and forecasting using established process tools to best align with requirements of global PAPI organization
  • SFDC (salesforce.com) local maintenance (Super User) to improve accuracy for better reporting and forecasting both locally and globally
  • eApprove administration support to meet the growing need to update approvers, delegation of approval authority, revision of table of approval authority and to optimize the interaction of eApprove between SFDC/SAP/Service Connection Platform and Service FCM (Full Cost Model) process tools
  • FCM continuous update and maintenance to optimize its use and to allow mapping to other process tools to provide ease of doing business, speed and accuracy
  • ServIS maintenance support to provide a high level of accuracy of ABB's installed base customer sites and to support the evolution business of the installed base
  • SAP support to adopt updates and the interaction between ABB other process tools
  • On going PAPI NAM P&P (Pulp & Paper) training and support of the process tools to all users to provide optimal use by our organization
Your background

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering or business and minimum 8 years with ABB process tools required in an ABB System Engineering, Operations, Proposal Engineering or other similar position
  • Salesforce report generation and general SFDC programming capabilities
  • Strong Excel skills including data analysis, macro generation and reporting
  • Familiarity/working knowledge of existing eApprove system and the local FCM
  • ABB OCS (Open Control System) product knowledge experience is preferred
