The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all service work on fuel tanks carried by company vehicles. This role must schedule and perform tank-testing jobs, keeping in compliance. The technician is also responsible for working on meters, performance maintenance on trucks, and other various tasks around the shop.$25 an hourMonday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, although other duties may be assigned.   • Schedule tank tests
  • Perform tank test jobs
  • Work on various meters
  • Perform maintenance on company trucks
  • Complete other various tasks around the shop
  • Remain in compliance with OSHA regulations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ experience in tank testing, mechanics and welding skills
  • Skills: Must have mechanical and welding skills. Must have adequate communication and organization skills. Must have strong work ethic skills, going above and beyond for customers during service calls. Must be detail-oriented to ensure all mistakes are found and corrected. Must be resourceful and use commonsense when problem solving.
  • Abilities: Ability to use various hand tools. Ability to know and follow all OSHA regulations. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Licenses/ Permits: Class B CDL< Hazmat, Tanker preferred, but not required!
