The Fetal Concerns RN Care Coordinator (FCRNCC) provides consistent, collaborative, and quality care to promote optimal clinical outcomes for patients identified with fetal concerns during the prenatal course of their pregnancy. The FCRNCC supports the successful transitions of care by ensuring the appropriate communication with members of the interdisciplinary team, including the referring providers, outpatient and inpatient providers, and their staff.
The FCRNCC position requires strong leadership, communication and organization skills; tact and sensitivity to patient/family needs and issues; commitment to professional standards of conduct, practice, and ethics; and the ability to work well with other health care professionals in a multi-disciplinary model. The FCRNCC role requires the ability to meet deadlines in an efficient manner in the midst of changing priorities. The FCRNCC seeks opportunities to improve and enhance one's knowledge of discharge planning. The FCRNCC needs to be self-directed, with sensitivity to key customer priorities, adjusting work environment accordingly.
Qualifications
BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
2 years of hospital experience in Obstetrics
1-2 years of High Risk Obstetrics
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
Proficient computer skills
Flexible in responding to the changing needs of the organization; demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Positive skills in communication and experience which indicate successful ability to assume responsibility within a team context.
Must be willing to be a productive team member and interested in contributing to the continuous improvement of quality patient care
High Risk Obstetrical knowledge
Proficient in presentation skills, including public speaking
Preferred
Masters in Nursing
1-2 years of experience in NICU
