In this role you will be responsible to prepare proposals on E&I, Automation and IT portion of tenders: analysis of specifications, I/O count, architecture development, engineering hours estimate, equipment selection and quantification (cabinets, instrumentation, PLCs, PCs, networks), commissioning hours, sub-suppliers work contracts.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze the customer's specifications and validate their expectations and needs in coordination with the process and product managers. Define the proposed technical solutions according to the tender specifications, customer requirements and applicable norms and standards.
  • Define the list of project deliverables. Participate in the development of the project realization schedule.
  • Quantify and optimize the costing hours for the realization of the project. Write the technical proposal based on the technical choices validated by the Process Control and Digitalization manager and E&I Engineering manager.
  • Seek technical adaptation opportunities to obtain economical optimization of the project. Ensure supplier consultations with the support of SCM department.
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients in support of Bids & Proposal team, if necessary Provide critical input data to Bids & Proposals team for compilation of the FCM, technical and commercial offers.
  • Develop and maintain the costing sheet. Keep the quotation databases up to date.
  • Maintain technological watch of industry evolution in Instrumentation and Automation. Ensure the onboarding and competency development of newcomers to the service. May be required to collaborate in project realization.
Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited school
  • Master's degree as a professional Electrical Engineer
  • Cost estimation of industrial automation projects. Minimum 5 years
  • General knowledge of industrial processes
  • Experience in complex project planning
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects
  • Fluent English is a must
