Position Description:

In the role of HRIS Consultant you will be working in Human Resources.


All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN,TX, and UT.

The business needs for this position may be re-evaluated at the conclusion of the outlined term
and may be convered to a full-time permanat role.


Purpose

Support and maintain HRIS platforms; integrating creative technology-based solutions to increase Human Resource process and service effectiveness. Provide analysis and support of HCM and other supplemental Human Resource systems. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, functional and technical expertise in maintaining, designing, and implementing modifications or enhancements in support of the organization.

Primary Functions

  1. Cultivate subject matter expertise for HR administration processes and HR System technology platform features.
  2. Actively work to reengineer HR processes to leverage technology and be more efficient, accurate and customer oriented.
  3. Maintain user guides and quick reference materials and provide training to end users as well as written procedures used to train HR System team members to ensure consistent practices and risk mitigation across all team members.
  4. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical.
  5. Recognize and accurately evaluates the signs of a system or data problems; analyze current procedures for possible improvements; sees how a problem and its solution will affect other units; weighs alternatives against objectives and arrives at reasonable decisions; use gathered information to create business requirements for the system environment; recommend innovative solutions.
  6. Adapt well to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
  7. Work to eliminate all processes which do not add value, even under pressure, criticism, or tight deadlines
  8. Work with HR Data team to develop audit processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with state and federal laws.
  9. Project Manage low to moderately complex enhancements or upgrades and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as appropriate.
  10. Participate in HR departmental initiatives as a HR System Subject Matter Expert (SME) to implement enhancements or changes within HR while maintaining integrity of all HR Systems and set ups.
  11. Create Change Requests (CRs) with IS Development or work with 3rd party vendors as needed to provide necessary functionality, within needed deadlines, for end-users of HCM and other integrated HR Systems.
  12. Effective written and verbal communication skills to conduct meetings; collaborate with your co-workers and leader; and organize tasks for deployment of technology changes.
  13. Passion for excellence in customer service.
  14. Ability to execute tasks independently as well as collaborating with team members from various business functions.
  15. Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
  16. Demonstrate good judgement and discretion with dealing with highly sensitive data.

  • Skill in development and documentation of operating and administrative procedures.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Required Experience: 3 years of technical or project management experience

Preferred Field: Computer Science or related technical field
