Job Description

We areSystems, LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment.Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

2nd hift: Mon - Thurs 4:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.

Job Summary:

As a Quality Auditor, you are expected to support and assist the supervisor with the coordination of the process inspections or Quality Audits, monitor process setups, SPCs and notify the Supervisor of any issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or technical school certificate/degree

  • 2+ years of experience of process auditing in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge on the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Basic knowledge on the use of ERP systems

  • Basic knowledge in the application of quality tools (Pareto Analysis, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Histogram, Stratification, Dispersion, Check Sheets, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of statistical techniques

  • Basic knowledge in reading and interpretation of blueprints and inspection plans

  • Ability to travel to out of state locations 1-2 times per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervisor with the coordination of the process inspections or Quality Audits.

  • Monitor process setups and SPCs and notify the Supervisor of any issues.

  • Perform audits as required using the applicable checklist.

  • Monitor the completion and execution of first articles.

  • Follow up on the sampling plans for audits, and report to the Supervisor when discrepancies are found in the process and/or product.

  • Notify production line leadership of any issues affecting Quality.

  • Help with validation of introduction of new products and component variations.

  • Effectively train new auditors and onboard new hires in auditing

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.

  • This is a role within Systems' Production group.
