ATI is currently seeking a Maintenance Leader for our facility located in Cudahy, WI. A successful Maintenance Leader is

responsible for the coordination of maintenance activities in a safety 1st work environment. . Responsibilities include leading hourly maintenance employees as well as contractor support when applicable. Manage and administer all preventive maintenance and scheduled/repairs. Comply with all relevant Environmental, Safety and Quality requirements. The Maintenance Leader will also handle overtime schedules and mentor hourly staff.

  • Safely plan, organize, and execute maintenance activities in a cost effective manner which support production schedules..
  • Provide broad practical and technical knowledge of all areas of Maintenance. Provide effective equipment trouble shooting and identify solutions to improve uptime and reliability.
  • Problem solve equipment breakdowns, develop a plan, and communicate appropriately
  • Promote positive and effective employer-employee relationships while insuring compliance with applicable labor contracts and EEO/AAP provisions.
  • Ensure the highest level of safe working conditions for all assigned employees via ATI Cudahy Safety initiatives, preventative maintenance, and efficient general housekeeping.
  • Supervise a diverse team of maintenance crafts
  • Communicate and plan EAM work orders with production supervisors
  • Manage small projects related to their maintenance crafts
  • Actively supports ATI Forged Products, Safety and Quality Programs and insure safe job practices are being practiced.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Supervision experience
  • Highschool Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Journeyman's Card in a Maintenance field
  • 5 years' experience working at a Journeyman's level
  • Experience Supervising in a Union environment

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment and machinery related drawings.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively lead in a team based problem solving environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs (excel, word, PowerPoint) for scheduling manpower, managing project budgets, and communication
