Horizon Home Care and Hospice's Grief Resource Center (GRC), located in Milwaukee, WI, is a safe haven for anyone in the community seeking counseling, literature, or other assistance in dealing with grief and loss issues. The ONLY free center of its kind in southeastern Wisconsin, the GRC has helped hundreds of individuals and families find the strength and support needed to navigate through one of life's most challenging times.

This unique full-time position will allow an experience counselor to provide compassionate, professional grief counseling and bereavement education services to caregivers, clients and professionals that utilize our one-of-a-kind Center.

  • Qualifications are a Master's degree in social work or counseling field,
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), /LI>
  • 2 years of experience in grief counseling and bereavement services.
  • Current/Valid WI Drivers License; plus reliable/insured vehicle
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 - 6 pmWednesday and Friday 8 -4:30pm
Salaried, Exempt.
