Summary

The receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean and organized
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule meetings and appointments
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Educational background / Work experience

  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a plus
  • Experience with phone systems and other office equipment
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not required

Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software is required.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $19.75- $26.5 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
