Salesforce Strategic Events is searching for an experienced senior registration operations leader to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the day to day management of registration strategy and operations within our free, paid, internal and virtual events portfolios, ensuring operational excellence and success for pre, on-site, and post planning. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in event registration, digital tools, and operational leadership to drive innovative programs and deliver outstanding results.

This individual will be leading the registration operations center of excellence team where they will be the main POC for all cross functional partners and agencies for the pre, onsite and post event registration management process. The role will also join the strategic events team on-site, ensuring that all facets of registration management run flawlessly. This position requires someone who can work both independently and take direction from Strategic Events leadership team in bringing successful event registration execution within the event portfolio.

Your impact and responsibilities:

  • Manage a team responsible for designing, building, and launching registration modules using tools like Rainfocus.
  • Align on a long-term vision and product roadmap for registration tools and experiences.
  • Drive continuous innovation and improvement of digital experiences for both in-person and virtual events, aligning design, UX, and branding across registration tools, ensuring seamless user experience and data integrity.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal business partners such as the MarTech team, housing team, staffing team, event technology team, creative team, procurement and sourcing team, demand generation team and the creative team related to successful registration deployment and execution.
  • Maintain an active understanding of internal policies and procedures related to event communications, data privacy/sharing, and gifting.
  • Manage communication to Salesforce staff around registration including maintaining registration information on internal documents and Slack channels..
  • Work within RainFocus to develop and deploy reporting to provide internal teams with required reporting, drive automation and optimized data capture.
  • Support and contribute to the team's operational excellence through detailed upkeep of team documentation, templates, etc.
  • Provide registration support for employee participants and their workstream leads.
  • Travel onsite (when needed) to manage event execution for registration needs


Required skills:

  • 10+ years successful of event registration operations experience.
  • Experience working with registration platforms and event technology agencies .
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and inspiring teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with leadership and Salesforce stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with complex requirements, competing priorities, and last minute changes
  • Adept at working on multiple projects at once, setting priorities, working independently, problem solving, improvising, and functioning as part of a team that often must perform under pressure
  • Self-starter who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage up on tasks and communication out to the team, know when to ask for help
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a "can-do" attitude
  • Able to live with organizational ambiguity
  • Ability to travel on-site both domestically and internationally (30-35%)
  • Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, cVent, RainFocus, Wicket knowledge highly preferred

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
