How you will contribute:

This is a great opportunity to perfect your planning and organizing skills by facilitating day-to-day operations of the office including scheduling/attending meetings and processing meeting minutes, maintaining calendars, and ordering office supplies. In addition, you'll provide administrative support to our fire protection contract team by creating project folders, managing test certificates, updating cost codes, researching any municipality/AHJ requirements, manage submittals, and completing contract close-out documents. Demonstrate your strong attention to detail by accurately composing professional, error-free correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets, reviewing/reporting on financial information, reviewing monthly expenditures, and verifying office payroll. In addition, you will act as a liaison between the office and corporate services (HR, Payroll, Accounting, etc.). This position will also assist in employee matters and work on special projects as needed. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will help make the most of your Associate degree in an administrative program. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of previous experience in an administrative-type role. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. Time management, making decisions independently, in-depth problem-solving skills, ability to provide constructive feedback, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality will all be essential in this position.
