Temporary Office Support personnel are responsible for the front desk, customer service which includes answering the phone, waiting on counter customers, providing general information, using proper money handling procedures, and displaying proper use of computer programs and registration procedures.
Dates/Times:
Two days/week (working a 4 hour shift)
Monday - Friday, between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm TBD
Compensation:
$13 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors and taking messages for employees.
Takes customer complaints or issues and passes them on to the appropriate person.
Distributes information through emails, letters, or telephone calls.
Processes registrations, rental applications and sells pool memberships.
Always maintains proper supervision of front desk. Never leaves the cash drawer open and never leaves area unattended except in an emergency situation.
Inspect area prior to use. Count drawer prior to shift and balance drawer at the end of the day using proper forms.
Responsible for ensuring all forms and office equipment is stocked.
Completes required reports and records as assigned.
Provides support to department team members by cutting, laminating, creating marketing materials as assigned.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff members.
Position Qualifications
Minimum age of 16 years.
Encouraged to hold current certifications in: American Red Cross CPR/AED
Able to work with the public, assume responsibility for a safe and clean area.
